Lisa López Smith reads “Kindness” by Naomi Shihab Nye, with Bambi, the original Lopez Smith milk goat. Lisa notes: Bambi is basically quarantined with the two other mean girls of the flock because they don’t let the other little ones eat, so “Kindness” seemed to be the right choice of poem to film with her. As the video shows though, she’s a real sweetheart with humans.
